Description: A Supply Chain Commercial Analyst position has become available with our clients,a leading leisure organisation based in Beds. This role is to primarily provide high impact procurement management information and supporting business case analysis to the Head of Supply Chain and Commercial Analysis and the team to make timely and accurate business decisions, with the aim to aid prioritisation and planning process.
 
Accountable for the consolidation of meaningful budgetary information to ensure accurate category planning
Accountable for delivery of up-to-date market, industry, country and supplier information (including benchmarking and competitor intelligence collation)
Accountable for the delivery of the category contract renewal timetable
Accountable for providing Head of Supply Chain and Commercial Analysis & the Finance Management with analytical support material for Board, Supplier and other high impact internal and external presentations/submissions.
Responsible for managing the relationship with providers of analytical materials and other primary and secondary information
Responsible for supporting high value / high risk sourcing processes with scenario and sensitivity analysis to clearly understand the financial impact in the framework set by the Finance Director and the group.
Responsible for development and production of evaluation criteria for potential and existing suppliers
Responsible for creating and continuous improvement of the analytical tools and techniques in the framework set by the Finance Director and the group.
Responsible for supporting the Supply Chain buying team in provision of information for business cases
Responsible for identification of suitable supplier measurement criteria for key strategic suppliers
Responsible for the validation of financial impact and savings generated by the buying teams
 
Skills:-
Previous proven commercial analytical experience in a fast moving commercially driven international environment
Graduate calibre and CIPS (or part qualified)
Proven track record of Project Management under pressure
Broad and deep knowledge of analytical tools and techniques
Good proficiency in MS office (Excel, Access, Word, Powerpoint)
Salary: £35,000 to £45,000 per annum
