Description:	Our client is one of the leading global manufacturers of glass and glazing products for the building and automotive markets. From their UK headquarters they provide a range of glazing solutions and have operations throughout North and South America, Australia and China. They are currently seeking an experienced procurement manager who will be tasked to develop and co-ordinate an effective purchasing strategy for a particular area of the business. Your responsibilities will include: · Developing strategies to deliver the needs of the business. · Co-ordinate cross functional teams to help standardize procurement globally. · Evaluate current supply base · Establish KPI’s to measure procurements performance. · Take the lead in senior management meetings. To be considered you need to be CIPS qualified and have a working knowledge of the automotive industry. In addition you should be able to demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills, experience of initiating change and be an effective man manager.
